Got weighed today...a certain friend of mine that may or may not be homosexual was right--I didn't lose as much as I thought.
I lost 4 pounds. This was depressing to learn, honestly. But I also had to keep in mind that it hasn't even been a full week yet, because I started on Monday. So next week's weigh in, I am determined, will be better. But if you look at it this way, I lost almost one pound a day, which is pretty impressive, really. I just want more! I worked out every day except Thursday. I even took a walk around my apartment this morning! So that's all good, I JUST WANT MORE!

Current weight: 207
Halfway goal: 172
Goal: 135.
Pounds left to lose: 72.
I would like to share some of my goals, so I'll have them here to look back on.
This week, I want to lose 5 pounds.
I want to lose 30 pounds by my birthday, October 12. So I've lost 4, that means 26 more by then.
I'd like to be at my halfway goal by Thanksgiving.
I want to be at my goal weight by, let's see...next May.
At my halfway point, I want a tattoo! And at my goal weight, I want to go to Vegas! Whee!
I need to make some physical goals too, like be able to run a mile by the end of the year or some such. I'll make some goals by next week.
So, it is what it is. I hope next week won't suck so bad, and I'll be hungry a little less.

So anyway. I'm going to the farm today to see my doggies. It will be pleasurable, at least if my dad doesn't make me plant some tomatoes or something. It's hot. So very hot.

just remember, it takes time to make the body change and 6 months for behavior to become a habit! like, i've been washing dishes when i make them the past 8 months instead of leaving them in the sink for weeks like i used to do - HABIT! LOL ... also, you're going to start FEELing like you weigh less because you're going to feel better and your body is going to start to change a bit (i know this is true for me and my weight has levelled off the past couple weeks though i know more weight loss is coming) - so don't get discouraged if you feel like you lost ten pounds but you lost 2 or 4 or something like that - feeling like we lost the weight is MOST of the fun of losing it to begin with. THEN we start to get pretty :D and then, 6 months down the line, it's a lifestyle change and we're actually healthier :D
P.S. Board game night at my place on August 9th. It'll be fun for the whole family!
